BYON Error not able to connect to Docker daemon

(Davidsichau) #1

I tried several times to get my own node to docker cloud.

I always get this error message:

ERROR: Unable to connect to the Docker daemon in b4abdf49-cbd4-4741-9dc3-dd896c3bdeb4.node.dockerapp.io. Please try to restart the Docker Cloud agent and contact support if the problem persists.

It is a node where I already used with tutum without any problems. Also the firewall rules are correctly set.

Is this the correct place or how can I contact the support?

Were you able to get this resolved? We had the same issue happen.

(Davidsichau) #3

We got rid of the problem by reinstalling docker cloud completely.

I am facing the same problem,Were you able to resolved this issue?
I tried to reinstall docker cloud but issue still persist

(Johnstratoudakis) #5

I am getting this same error, I have tried removing and purging dockercloud, opening all mentioned ports on ufw and still no success:

sudo apt-get remove dockercloud-agent
sudo apt-get purge dockercloud-agent

sudo ufw allow 2375
sudo ufw allow 6783

I will now try to just recreate my docker agent from digitalocean

I was able to get this to work by creating a Node automatically from Docker Cloud and not manually. I also destroyed the droplet that I created manually from Digital Ocean. After monitoring the logfiles from the droplet that I created manually from Digital Ocean, it felt like I did not see a lot of activity.
