(Vidsy.co (Charlie)) #1

Problem

Get 400 Bad Request error when trying to add the Slack Notifications integrations in the new UI.

same.

POST https://cloud.docker.com/api/notifications/v1/slack/add/
{"response": null, "error": "Invalid request"}

@arzynik was looking for an API endpoint!

Do you have the docs?

What body did you send in the request?

(Arzynik) #4

@vidsyhq that was the output from the js console from the new ui.

New UI posts to using a request payload, and returns a 400
{"webhook_url":"https://hooks.slack.com/services/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"}

Old UI posts using form data and works just fine
webhook_url=https%3A%2F%2Fhooks.slack.com%2Fservices%2F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

Both post to the same api endpoint https://cloud.docker.com/api/notifications/v1/slack/add/

Im not sure if there are any docs on this specifically, but the api docs are here https://docs.docker.com/apidocs/docker-cloud/#introduction

I was able to get around this by loading the classic UI and then adding Slack. It worked for me until they get this fixed in the new UI

Thanks for the feedback. We’re working on a fix for this issue and will post an update to this thread when the update is available. In the meantime, please feel free to use the classic UI to setup/configure Slack notifications as suggested by @iteamnetworkdc.
