# Cannot enbale Hyper-V service

Hello,

I have installed Docker on a Windows 2019 VmWare image. Now when i start docker i het the message “Cannot enable Hyper-V service”.

When i look in servermanger the option Hyper-v is checked but grayed out. Hyper-V Manager is available.

I see a lot of hyperv servicesbut all are turned off

I read some comments about enabling virtualisation in the bios ut as this is a vmware image that does not work.

How can i make this work?
