Can't access from a container to a host in the local area network


Docker Desktop Community:

  • version (stable)
  • engine 19.03.8

Windows 10 Enterprise

I’m working in the corporate local network. And need to get the access from a Linux container to a host inside the LAN.
When I try to ping the host I got “Destination Host Unreachable”

I’ve read a lot of topics but still not got the solution :frowning:

I think you might be right regarding the address clash. The Docker bridge in the Linux VM is indeed using as the default subnet and it clashes with your LAN. You can change the IP addresses used by changing the daemon configuration in the Settings menu. I think the entry you want is something like:
