Can't assign wifi interface to docker container

(Skerdzius) #1

Hello,
I have this issue.

124: wlan0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/ether 00:4f:81:04:8a:b2 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
tester@arvydas:~$ sudo ifconfig wlan0 up

I can easily assign ethernet interface to docker1 container.

tester@arvydas:~$ sudo ip link set netns $(docker inspect --format '{{ .State.Pid }}' docker1) eth3
tester@arvydas:~$ sudo ip link set netns $(docker inspect --format '{{ .State.Pid }}' docker1) eth2

But I can’t assign wlan0 interface, it gives error.
I don’t know what the deal is here.

tester@arvydas:~$ sudo ip link set netns $(docker inspect --format '{{ .State.Pid }}' docker1) wlan0
