Hi,

I saw that there will be a beta version of docker ce with kubernetes.
As far as i can see kubernetes will be available in docker-ee and in docker for Mac and Windows.

Will there be no beta for docker-ce native on linux ?

Or am I misunderstanding something ?

Regards,

Hans

Just a guess is that Docker’s implementation for this is packaged via moby. This gives them a well known configuration that they can work with.

Since linux hosts run the docker engine directly, it’s more difficult to manage the kubernetes install across distros and integrate it with the docker engine.
