issue: Docker Desktop cannot log in to the account
Operating system: Windows 10 Professional Workstation Edition
Application version: Docker Desktop 4.78.0
Settings - Resources: Docker Desktop proxy system proxy
container proxy is the same as the host
Settings - Resources: Network 192.168.65.0/24
After clicking “Sign in” on my Docker Desktop, the web page that pops up keeps timing out, and the server response time for hub.docker.com is excessively long. Clicking on Docker Hub keeps loading
If you look at https://www.dockerstatus.com, it doesn’t seem to be a general problem.
The setting to use the system proxy just means it uses whatever is configured on the host, though it doesn’t tell us, if you actually have a proxy configured on your host. If a proxy is configured and is not working reliable, it could explain the behaviour.
Did it ever work? We see Docker Hub access issues from China from time to time and based on your name, if you are from China, it could be the same in your case.
