Docker Refusing To Start - Network Error

(Unqhosting) #1

When starting the docker as a service on centos I’m receiving this error in the logs docker logs:

May 19 02:53:3 dockerd[1048]: Error starting daemon: Error initializing network controller:
Error creating default "bridge" network: failed to allocate gateway (172.18.0.0): Address already in use
May 19 02:53:38 systemd[1]: docker.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
May 19 02:53:38 systemd[1]: Failed to start Docker Application Container Engine.
May 19 02:53:38 systemd[1]: Unit docker.service entered failed state.
May 19 02:53:38 systemd[1]: docker.service failed.

I unknowingly changed the interface with the “DOCKER_OPT=” but I temporarily fixed it and now it returned with that message. When using IP ADDR command the docker network is not showing up either.

Can I somehow reverse Docker to listen to the default interface and address?

Thank you in advance.
