The Linux Container Specialist is responsible for our company’s competence development and overall image within the area Linux Containers.
Your daily tasks will include identifying and creating ways to increase the competence in containers for our Consulting Department.
This can include internal content, webinars, training, lab/test, tech events and much more, driving a program that increases the competence of our Engineer & Consultants. Your role as Linux Container Specialist may also include customer contact if necessary.
The ideal candidate would be someone with extensive history from Linux/Unix Infrastructure operations. It’s very meritorious if you also have previous experience as an IT Instructor in Linux/UNIX, IP Networking or Virtualization.
You have at least 3+ years working hands on with Linux Containers technology, preferably docker.
The Container Specialist reports to the COO, The Chief Operating Officer
Responsibilities:

work with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and grow the competence in containers for the whole consultant group.

participate in developing the the company image (both Public and internal) regarding competence in Linux containers technology.

participate as Linux Containers expert for any client

participate in developing the company’s Linux Containers Lab

act as Subject Matter expert if/when any tests in Linux Containers are being conducted in internal Lab

work with POC Projects related to Linux Containers

act as pre-sales engineer in customer cases related to Linux Containers solutions

build and develop technical relationships with any existing and/or new manufacturer or vendor solutions that supports the company’s focus in Linux Containers technology, i.e. Docker, Redhat
