Dynamically create and update script in the stack yml file

(Corvesta) #1

I am running consul and vault containers. In setting up the vault json file, I am using the backend “consul”. This requires the address of the consul container. I am looking at using Docker Cloud for my containers deployments. I am in the process of setting up a yml stack script, is there a way to dynamically create the json file to pull in the consul address for the backend to reflect the newly created consul container in the yml stack script?

backend “consul” {address ="{CONSUL_IP}:8500" path = “vault”} listener “tcp” {address = “0.0.0.0:8200” tls_disable = 1}
