EspoCRM Docker Official Image PR has been waiting 6 years — looking for a maintainer review

Hi everyone,

We are the developers of EspoCRM, an open-source CRM project.

Our Docker Official Images PR has been open since 2020: https://github.com/docker-library/official-images/pull/7603

One required review was completed in 2024, and as far as we understand, the only remaining step is one more maintainer review.

What makes this difficult to understand is that EspoCRM is an actively used project with a real user base, public coverage, and adoption by organizations including the Red Cross and other non-profits.

At this point, we are mainly trying to understand the current status. Is there any blocker left on our side? Does this PR still just need one more maintainer review, or would it be better to refresh and resubmit it?

If any Docker Official Images maintainer or contributor could review PR #7603, or simply clarify what is still needed, we would be very grateful.

Thanks

I remembered the previous topic

I have no idea what takes so long, but things didn’t change much here on the forum since then, so developers are still not regular visitors of the forum, but we have more ways contacting them and others who could have more experience with this. I will ask about it in an internal group.

Thank you again, Ákos, for looking into this. I really appreciate it and I’d be grateful for any updates when you have them.

Good news. I got a response and it was promised that they will prioritize the review of your PR in the next sprint. It looks liike the PR was indeed lost somehow. Your case pointed out that the process could be improved and I was told that we can expect better communication in the future regarding issues with PRs.

Thank you for coming back and reporting again. Please keep us updated if there is any progress in your PR or if you don’t get a response in the next 20 days for example. In the meantime I am also asking Docker how long that sprint means, but I would be surprised if it meant more than a month.

Thank you! I’d be glad if our Docker gets added.
