Hello to everybody,

I would like to install docker on my raspberry pi server. As far as I understood I have to use the convenience script. On [https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/debian/#install-using-the-convenience-script](https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/debian/#install-using-the-convenience-script) is stated that you should examine the script before usage.

Is there any guide how to verify that I got the valid script? Most other project offer little guide how to verify with gpg or at least sha256 hash. Yes I could read and try to understand the script but, I’m not an expert and not familiar with most of the commands.

Or is there in the future a way to install docker in RaspberryPi OS without this script?

Thank you in advance.

To answer my own question. Get the `install.sh` script from the [github repo](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/docker/docker-install/master/install.sh) and the script from [https://get.docker.com/](https://get.docker.com/), save both in text files.
Then you can compare the files with `diff filename.sh filename2.sh` and you get the possible difference.
