Mounting Drive other than C:

Hello,

I am having issues mounting my D:\Data drive in docker. When I run “docker run --rm -v d:\data:/data alpine ls /data”, I get the following error:

“Unable to find image ‘alpine:latest’ locally
C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\Resources\bin\docker.exe: Error response from daemon: Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: net/http: request cancelled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeding while awaiting headers).”

I’ve selected to share D: in docker settings, provided my credentials, and I still cannot mount the drive. Any ideas would be welcome.

Cheers,

ggmu

Seems the first problem is you can’t download the Alpine image.

If the above works, check if your av/firewall blocks the Docker network.
