Just a quick query, really (well, hopefully!). Just wondering if distributed transactions are supported from a server to a container?
I have SQL Server 2016 running inside a Windows Container (running upon a Windows 2016 Server container host). MS DTC is configured correctly and running on both the conainer and web server. However, my non-container web server cannot commit a DTC transaction to it (I have been using DTCTest tool for testing purposes on the non-container host).
The container host and web server are on the same test domain.
Happy to provide version numbers, etc but I guess my first question still stands - can you commit a distributed transaction from a server to a container?
