# Problem with installed package podman

I’m trying to install docker on a CentOs 8 machine Linux hostname 4.18.0-305.12.1.el8\_4.x86\_64 #1 SMP Wed Aug 11 01:59:55 UTC 2021 x86\_64 x86\_64 x86\_64 GNU/Linux] by following the instructions here: [Install Docker Engine on CentOS | Docker Documentation](https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/centos/) and even if I made sure to run:

```auto
sudo yum remove docker \
                  docker-client \
                  docker-client-latest \
                  docker-common \
                  docker-latest \
                  docker-latest-logrotate \
                  docker-logrotate \
                  docker-engine

```

I get this ugly huge error when trying `sudo yum install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io `
