Running an executable JAR file in Docker Swarm

(Kunalchandratre) #1

I am new to docker world. I configured Docker Swarm in Microsoft Azure container service. I want to run a JAR file on 3 containers. So how can I do that? Are there any commands to make it run on containers?

This file executes many scripting files which can be called as “task”. So essentially I want a way by which master can know which of the container out of 3 is free and then pass the task to it for execution. So is this something automatically available using compose or Swarm master?
If not any direction/ links to custom solution?

Any response would be highly appreciated.
