Security patching docker-ce vs mirantis container runtime

Hi folks,

I am weighing the pros and cons of docker-ce vs Mirantis container runtime. I understand the feature set differences and the support model provided by Mirantis. however, I’m struggling to find any detailed info about the security patching, looking at the release notes across both it appears Mirantis is a couple of months behind the community edition.

Can anyone provide a little more context on this process, or any other gotchas I might not have considered?

Since Mirantis Container Runtime is replaced Docker EE, that’s the new enterprise Docker. I guess making it more enterprise ready takes time and new bugs can be found in the latest community version.

Just to make sure we understand eachother: you know that Docker CE is free and Mirantic Container Runtime isn’t?
