I have a win2012R2 server VM running in ESXi5.5 on an HP DL380G8 server with processor virtualization enabled.
I also enabled this option in the VM options under CPU/MMU Virtualization.
When I launch the Docker Quickstart Terminal to create the virtualbox, I get an error: This computer doesn’t have VT-X/AMD-v enabled.
When I run this command; Get-CimInstance -ClassName win32_processor -Property Name, SecondLevelAddressTranslationExtensions, VirtualizationFirmwareEnabled
I see that both feature are set to false.
Sounds like a problem with VMware where it’s not enabling that option for the OS? any ideas?
