Unable to update the dns parameter on the cluster_config table

(Feiock) #1

I am hosting my Docker EE UCP and DTR on Azure. With this setup, Azure provides nameservers I can use for DNS resolution. In looking at the documentation here:

It appears I can add an array of IP addresses as nameservers to the dns parameter under the cluster_config table. I have followed the directions in the documentation where I first output the configuration to the ucp-config.toml file, update it with my setting, and run the Docker service update to push the updated settings to the new configuration. However, when I repeat the process of outputting the configuration to the local .toml file again, my DNS settings are not there, so it doesn’t appear my setting is getting applied. Is there are trick to getting this to work? Or is there a way to update this value in the UI?
