Unlicensed UCP in production

Dear all, can I freely use an unlicensed copy of UCP in production? I know that it will work perfectly functional but is it legal?

No, it is not.

An enterprise subscription entitles you to use the enterprise features, such as UCP, the UCP Kubernetes integration, Interlock and DTR.

From what I remember it is possible to request a 30 day trial subscription.

I am not a lawyer.

The Docker End User Subscription Agreement states

Subject to Customer’s timely payment of the Subscription Fee and compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Docker hereby grants Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable license during the applicable Subscription Term to install, copy and use the Licensed Software for Customer’s internal business purposes, in connection with the deployment of no more than the number of Instances as are set forth in the Order Form.

Given terms like “timely payment” and “during the applicable subscription term”, no, you are not free to use an unlicensed copy of UCP.
