Windows 10, 1803, and Docker for Windows 18.03.1-ce and missing IPs on Bridge

  • I installed Windows 10 April 2018 Creators Update (1803).
  • I installed Docker for Windows 18.03.1-ce.
  • I run: docker run -d --name nanoserver-base microsoft/nanoserver:latest
  • I run: docker inspect -f ‘{{range .NetworkSettings.Networks}}{{.IPAddress}}{{end}}’ nanoserver-base

Expect: some IP address in 172.x.x.x
Observe: empty string

It seems to me that the container is not being assigned an IP on the Bridge network. What do I do now? TIA

I booted a few more times, updated an unrelated VPN driver, Drank some coffee, came back, and IPs were being added in the .NetworkSetting.Networks section. YMMV
