I’ve worked in computer science R&D and IT consulting since the 1980’s. I led a research team at Accenture’s Center for Strategic Technology Research in Chicago and worked at the Information Sciences Institute using languages like Loom to build B2B systems. I was a partner at Deloitte Consulting and had my own lab in San Francisco for developing Internet systems for clients. Now I’m mostly retired but I still work as much as ever, just now on things I find interesting. Primarily the Semantic Web (OWL, RDF, SPARQL, etc.). I use Docker primarily for AllegroGraph right now. My language of choice is Lisp (yes really!) but I’m learning Python.
