Cannot pull any images from Docker Hub (timeout / context deadline exceeded)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been struggling for more than 6 hours with an issue on my Windows 11 machine. Docker Desktop is installed (WSL2 backend), but I cannot pull any images from Docker Hub.

Environment:

  • Windows 11
  • Docker Desktop v28.3.3
  • WSL2 enabled
  • Distros: only docker-desktop (Ubuntu was removed, no custom distro in use)

Problem:
Whenever I try to pull an image, I get:

There is no such version. That is the version of the Docker CE. What is the Desktop version?
