I’m trying to add support for docker-for-mac to our packaging system which currently only works on Linux. I’ve fixed a few trivial things but am running into an issue where when we run (for example) pbuilder-dist xenial amd64 create --updates-only in the container then pbuilder-dist fails with:
mknod: '/var/cache/pbuilder/build/995/./test-dev-null': Function not implemented
E: Cannot install into target '/var/cache/pbuilder/build/995/.' mounted with noexec or nodev
E: debootstrap failed
W: Aborting with an error
I’ve seen this: mknod fails (attempting to use pbuilder) · Issue #555 · moby/moby · GitHub but it doesn’t provide anything I can try.
