Docker Api Stats not showing cpu_stats key

Hello i have a problem regarding the docker api cpu_stats:
When i run an api call against my docker api, which is running on a windows machine, the json contains a key named “cpu_stats”. when i run the same api call on the api running on a debian machine, it does not contain the json key “cpu_stats”. Why? And how can i “solve” this problem.

The api clearly provides it: https://docs.docker.com/engine/api/v1.42/#tag/Container/operation/ContainerStats

Please share docker info and docker version from both installations.

Your Debian system uses cgroup v2 (which makes it use systemd as cgroup and add the security option cgroupns). It works like a charm on Ubuntu with cgroup v1. Your DDfWindows uses cgroup v1 as well.

I have no idea if changing to cgroup v1 will work for you: https://docs.docker.com/config/containers/runmetrics/#changing-cgroup-version

The api docs indicate why it might not be working:

If you feel this is a bug, then you might want to raise an issue in the moby github project:

But how I understand it only one specific key under cpu_stats will not work. I don’t know which one exactly since I don’t have the documentation right now but that’s what I understand from the api docs.
Is there any way to get the cpu stats of a container in any other way? When I use shell tools like ctop I can view them normally and everything works fine.
