If I remember correctly, docker-init was the process manager which you can still enable by passing --init to the docker run command. But it seems the end of your question is missing or I don’t understand what the question is. containerd and runc are separate projects now.
Also how are the aws and dockerhub tags are relevant? The category is definitely wrong so I move the topic to Docker Engine and I changed the title. “Docker Topic view” said nothing about the issue.
