Docker container went into zoombie state

Error response from daemon: Cannot restart container cashier: container 459260f3d245 PID 612908 is zombie and can not be killed. Use the --init option when creating containers to run an init inside the container that forwards signals and reaps processes.

Team, could you please help in how to overcome this problem.

OS Version: Rocky Linux 9.1

Rocky Linux is not directly supported by Docker so I don’t even know how Docker should be installed on it,
but the error message shows what you should have been done. IF you know which container can’t be restarted, delete the container and recreate it with an init process as the error message recommends it (docker run --init ...), or if you used Docker Compose, then init: true in the service definition.
