“Recently, I found a file named docker-mcp.yaml
in a project I was using for training. When I searched for it, I couldn’t find any information. Can anyone explain what it is and how it works?”
Why did you quote your message? Did you share someone else’s question?
It looks like you are trying to ask about a file just by its name. Maybe if you share the content, you can get faster responses, but you can find the filename on Google as well. At least I did
Configuration
The MCP CLI uses several configuration files:
docker-mcp.yaml
: Server catalog defining available MCP serversregistry.yaml
: Registry of enabled serversconfig.yaml
: Gateway configuration and options
There is also a gordon-mcp.yaml
I’m new here and didn’t know if I could share a piece of code that isn’t mine.
I searched on Google but only found documentation about YAML configuration, and it only mentioned a gordon-mcp.yaml
, so I didn’t know if it was the same thing I was searching for.
Anyway, thanks a lot, it really helped! About the quote thing, it’s because English isn’t my native language, so I asked GPT to correct what I had written.
Somehow I found that too first, but fortunately I found the other one eventually.
I think it is a general rule in the online world that you can share any code as long as you are allowed to share it by the author. It could be a publicly available code quoted directly and a link provided to the original source. If you are not sure you the author would allow to share it, it is best not to share it, but that realyl makes it hard to help. If I could still help with the link, that’s great.
