Docker Swarm with windows leader

Hello there,

Im trying to set up a prototyping environment with three nodes (two linux one windows machine) with the windows docker desktop being the swarm manager (simply the most ergonomic machine to use).

But, I cannot reach the swarm host inside the WSL 2 virtual machine on windows from the linux machines (Firewall Setup is correct and needed ports are open). The IP address of the node on windows ist the IP inside the VM, not the IP of the host and that seems to be the problem.
I wonder:

  • Do I have to port forward to the WLS2 VM, if so how would I even do that?
  • Am I just better of setting up a dual boot system and use linux?
