Docker tries to install packages in /Users/<OLD_NAME> instead of /Users/<NEW_NAME>, fails to start(boot)

Hello!

My issue is exactly as described in below SO post:

I’m getting the below error while booting up the latest version (version 18.03.1-ce-mac65) of the Docker for Mac app.

Cannot create/resize "/Users/<OLD_NAME>/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker/Data/com.docker.driver.amd64-linux/Docker.qcow2": exit status 1

However, if I go to /Users/<NEW_NAME>/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker/Data/ , I can see that the related drivers are already created on my new home directory.

I really don’t know how the Docker tries to access my <OLD_NAME> home folder.

Unfortunately, you need to start with a clean slate. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50551400/changed-mac-homefolder-name-docker-doesnt-start
