I use Docker on Ubuntu 22.04 from the beginning (Of Ubuntu 22.04) and works perfectly (I also used it on Arm on macOS inside a multipass VM). I fully agree with the recommendations you got from the developer on the Golang forum.
Finding the official installation instructions is actually pretty easy. Just go to google and search for
docker install on ubuntu 22.04
The documentation is “just” the second result for me, but second is still good.
