Errors on Windows Install

I’m trying to install Docker Desktop on a Windows 11 Pro machine but I’m getting a cannot install message. Does Docker needs to be run on a VM? Hyper-V is enabled on my machine. If it’s easier to run Docker on Linux, I can also go that way.

Thanks!

If you have Linux and you don’t need the features of Docker Desktop, then yes, installing Docker on Linux is easier in productio you should always go with that approach anyway. ON the other hand, if you want to use Docker Desktop, installing it on Linux would not be much easier if it would at all. You could have different kind of problems. If you need Docker Desktop, running it in a VM is not recommended since you would need nested virtualization and it could be slower. Do you have a specific error message?
