File mssql in mac os

i just instal mssql server in docking for mac OS … and where the location of the database file is stored

what image did you use? did you read the instructions for the image… usually it tells you if you want control of where the files are stored, then you need to pass in a volume…

the image is retrieved with

docker pull microsoft/mssql-server-linux

and the info is here

it looks like in the education, they are putting the database inside the running container
