My Gordon agent won’t start. I tried, restarting the agent and the desktop app as suggested in the app and it does not work. i also tried restarting my computer. but nothing works. anyone else had this issue? what was the resolution.
I assume you are logged in with your Docker Hub account in Docker Desktop, and Gordon is enabled in the AI settings. If this is the case then Gordon should work.
If both the conditions are met and Gordon still doesn’t start, you might want to create and upload a diagnostic id and share it in a Github Issue in the Docker Desktop feedback project: https://github.com/docker/desktop-feedback/issues
You can generate the diagnostic id from the context menu of the docker icon in the notification area .-> troubleshooting → support → “Get Support” button. It will take a while to gather all relevant information. Pleae mention the diagnostic id in the issue you create.
Yesterday I had problem with Gordon on the GUI, but the CLI worked. I think I still had 4.73 and I updated immediately, so I am not sure what fixed it. Restarting Docker Desktop or the update. In your case the version should be right and you already restarted the desktop, but you can still try the docker ai command before reporting the issue on GitHub.
