I enabled it in Docker Desktop for Linux and worked perfectly. Now I checked it on my MacBook and I can’t see right tab either. So I tried my Windows laptop where containerd is not enabled for pulling images, but I see the new Kubernetes tab with the options to choose kubeadm or kind.
What doy ou see exactly on your screen on the Kubernetes tab? Do you see a version number at the top? When you enable it without applying, do you see any more options?
And the correct tab would contain only a switch without version number or reset button.
Update: Showing the new tab without the containerd image store enabled is probably not an issue unless it allows me to enable kind, whih I could not do yet
Update 2: Yes, when I managed to cancel the accidentally enabled kubeadm cluster, and I could not enable kind until I enabled containerd, but It became available after that. So it seems to be an issue on Macs
I didn’t mention, but I tried that too. So it seems to me it is a bug on Mac. The question is if it happens on all Macs. I haven’t find a related existing issue on GitHub yet.
Today I started Docker Desktop on Mac and the correct Kubernetes tab was there. I heard from Docker that logging out and back could trigger a process that makes the new feature available, but I didn’t log out, just stopped Docker Desktop yesterday and when I started it today, it worked.
I heard you also got help since then, but I leave this here in case anyone has the same problem.
Yes, using the Konami code (like this but on the main settings, ending “b,a” instead of “p,d,t”) and ticking the multi-node kubernetes box seems to have started it for me. I had quit/restarted a few times, but not logged out/in.
