Hello,

You’ll want to create an image, probably using a Dockerfile. A Dockerfile might look something like this:

FROM ubuntu:14.04
RUN apt-get update
RUN apt-get -y install svn java myapplication mvn # fake package names for this example

Once I have that in my dockerfile, I can create a docker image called ‘mydevenv’ by running docker build -t mydevenv . from the directory where the Dockerfile is located. Full docs on Dockerfiles can be found here: https://docs.docker.com/reference/builder/

Cheers,

Jeff
