I can't boot into my computer because Docker fails to start?

Hi all,
I’m on Manjaro Linux (whichever version is most recent) trying to use docker to host a Jellyfin server for my music collection, using Firefox to interact with the program running in the container. At ome point, Firefox suddenly crashes and refuses to re-open so I restart the computer and am greeted with this message shortly after beginning to boot:

[FAILED] Failed to start Docker Application Container Engine.

I… literally can’t do anything except force power off the computer and be greeted with the same error. I can’t seem to find anyone else with this particular error and I kinda need my computer to not be blocked up for work. I have no idea what more to say, but I’m really hoping y’all can help me here.

Thank you

I don’t know why a single application would block your computer permanently. Sometimes booting an OS takes time because of some processes waiting for dependencies but that’s all I saw.

I don’t know what shows that error message, but Docker CE is not officially supported on Manjaro, not even on its base, Arch Linux. Docker Desktop has a documentation about installing it on Arch -based sitibutions, but not Docker CE

You could ask an Arch or Manjaro community, who could have better experience with running Docker on those distributions or what you can do when the OS doesn’t let the machine start.

I would gladly give you a beter answer, but I have no experience with Manjaro, especially not with Docker on it. If you can§t get help from a Manjaro community, you could share mor einfo about how you installed Docker on it..
