Is docker free to deploy production apps

I am wondering if docker is free. I am installing docker in my ubuntu server and playing with containers, but never asked about license key!!!

Then what does this pricing means?

Docker is an open source project. You can use it however you want. Interestingly you will also get the entire source code in case you are interested in learning the internals or to contribute back to docker. The pricing you have seen in the website is of the enterprise release. When you purchase docker you will get pro service and support in an SLA bound way.
