Expected behavior
Mac sleeps
Flip up monitor
Started containers are still there
Actual behavior
Mac sleeps
Flip up monitor
Started containers are no longer running
Im not sure if this is intended behavior or not but its kinda annoying cause everything else is still running just things started in docker are gone. This worked when I was living in docker machine land with kiteamatic.

This is related to my question here . Good to see I’m not the only one struggling!

Sounds like you’ve got the same problem that I have:
Summary:
When I suspend my machine, any running containers die with the error:
Error response from daemon: dial unix /var/tmp/com.docker.vsock/00000003.00000948: connect: connection refused
Versions:
Docker for Mac: Version 1.11.1-beta11 (build: 6974)
OSX: 10.10.5
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)
How to reproduce:
Start a container
Close lid of laptop to suspend
Open lid and log in
Get annoyed that your containers are all dead and you have to restart them…
Is this a bug, a(n un)docume…
