Letsencrypt with an application running in Docker container

I have a website running on a docker container and I want it to be secure using Letsencrypt.
There is also a cname record resolving on an aws load balancer dns.
To be honest, I don’t know how to proceed. I’m confused because the app is not hosted in /var/www/nginx. I need your help, please.
