I have a docker compose recipe that actually runs pretty well, but it takes quite a long time (minutes) for one of the containers to start up.
The docker-compose.yml file in pretty long. Most of the services startup quickly, with the one that seems to be problematic being an nginx container that is also built with php-fpm, and which depends on another container and mysql_db service.
The tail-end of the docker-compose up is this:
mc_1 | INFO 2021-04-09 15:48:58,841 [Main Server Thread] com.mirth.connect.server.Mirth: Mirth Connect 3.10.1 (Built on January 6, 2021) server successfully started. mc_1 | INFO 2021-04-09 15:48:58,850 [Main Server Thread] com.mirth.connect.server.Mirth: This product was developed by NextGen Healthcare (https://www.nextgen.com) and its contributors (c)2005-2021. mc_1 | INFO 2021-04-09 15:48:58,851 [Main Server Thread] com.mirth.connect.server.Mirth: Running OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 11.0.9 on Linux (5.10.25-linuxkit, amd64), postgres, with charset UTF-8. mc_1 | INFO 2021-04-09 15:48:58,852 [Main Server Thread] com.mirth.connect.server.Mirth: Web server running at http://172.18.0.5:8080/ and https://172.18.0.5:8443/ postgres_index-db_1 | 2021-04-09 15:51:14.482 UTC WARNING: could not open statistics file "pg_stat_tmp/global.stat": Operation not permitted nginx_1 | 2021-04-09 15:52:20,231 INFO Set uid to user 0 succeeded nginx_1 | 2021-04-09 15:52:20,240 INFO supervisord started with pid 1 nginx_1 | 2021-04-09 15:52:21,244 INFO spawned: 'nginx' with pid 11 nginx_1 | 2021-04-09 15:52:21,245 INFO spawned: 'php-fpm' with pid 12 nginx_1 | 2021-04-09 15:52:22,352 INFO success: nginx entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs) nginx_1 | 2021-04-09 15:52:22,352 INFO success: php-fpm entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs)
Seems a little curious that some of the delay is with the postgres database where there is the error/warning regarding globat.stat.
I am running Docker Desktop 3.3.0 on Mac Catalina OS 10.15.7 (19H524)
