Npm install having filesystem trouble on 1.11.2-beta15

Expected behavior

Running npm install to completion inside container.

Actual behavior

FS-related errors during npm install

Host:
Darwin Jasons-MBP 14.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Mon Jan 11 18:48:35 PST 2016; root:xnu-2782.50.2 ~ 1 / RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

The same commands work as expected under Docker 1.11.1 with virtualbox / boot2docker.

I haven’t tried on prior versions of Docker for Mac.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Run a bash shell inside the container
  2. Run npm install from that bash shell
