Question about publishing ports

I’m fairly new to docker-compose, and I’m trying to get what I hope is a trivial configuration change working, but I’m not sure how to proceed. I’m trying to get a publicly-accessible jitsi meet stack up and running. They have a docker image and provide a docker-compose.yml

When I docker-compose up -d, everything starts, and the web server is accessible if i curl https://localhost. However, the service is not accessible via the machine’s public ip, either from the machine itself (eg: wget https://public-ip from the machine itself), or from an outside host. I’ve confirmed it isn’t an iptables issue at least until it reaches the docker iptables entries, because I can bring up a different webserver on port 80 or port 443 and reach it just fine. I think it has something to do with not using host for network mode, but you can’t mix and match custom networks with a network_host entry. I’d like to avoid setting up an additional reverse proxy if possible. Is there an easy way to just directly publish the exposed ports from the docker setup?
