Restart docker not through systemd

(J406660003) #1

Recently I’ve been doing an experiment to check the effectiveness of KSM(Kernel Same-page Merging) on containers

I’m trying to use the ksm_preload tool to wrap the docker service.
I’ve tried sudo ./ksm-wrapper systemctl start docker but it didn’t work, the reason might because I’m actually wrapping systemd rather than docker itself.

so i’m curious is there any way to start docker daemon not through either /etc/init.d/ or sudo systemctl ?

thanks for the help
