Unexpected error occurred

I installed v4.48 over 4.47 and the engine stopped in error:
starting engine: engine windows failed to start: starting windows containers: An error has occurred.

I reset to factory defaults, no effect.
Uninstalled and reinstalled, same result.
Gathered diagnostics:
E250AEDC-65DE-4237-8ECE-424D3C442645/20251015142338

Is there a solution to overcome this?

Meanwhile I shutteddown WSL as proposed for the September 25th issue, uninstalled and reinstalled Docker.
Now the engine starts
