The latest version in the repo is docker-ce-26.1.3-1.el8.x86_64.rpm here
While for redhat this goes to docker-ce-28.0.2-1.el8.x86_64.rpm here
Why is this not available in centos 8 repo?
Probably because CentOS 8 is officially EOL.
After May 31, 2024, CentOS Stream 8 will be archived and no further updates will be provided.
Migration/Upgrade options:
- Migrate to CentOS Stream 9
- Convert to RHEL 8
