Can‘t connect to host after using VPN in container

Hey everyone,

I set up a windows server in a container by using dockurs windows compose file GitHub - dockur/windows: Windows inside a Docker container.

Everything works fine. Except one thing.

If I connect to a VPN inside this windows container with ghostVPN software, I loose connection to my local network. So I can‘t access shared folders or samba shares anymore. Without VPN active it works.

Has anyone an Idea what I could do?

It seems the VPN software is forwarding all requests to the external VPN gateway.

I know from WireGuard that you can set which IPs (ranges) should be connected via VPN.

So you need to check your VPN docs.
