Cannot login to Docker Hub from Docker for MAC

Hi,

I can login to my docker hub from the website. However, when I try the same from Docker for Mac, it just says Login Failed.

If I try the same from the terminal, I get the following message " Error response from daemon: Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: EOF"

I am a newbie and I am trying to figure out where am I going wrong. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Docker from my MAC. Nothing seems to work.

Hi there. Did you figure out how to fix this problem? I am having the exact same thing and at this point I don’t know what to do.

Could not figure out the reason for the same. I uninstalled and reinstalled it again, after my post here. It apparently worked for a day and then the same issue reoccurred.

Before, you uninstall the same, just ensure you don’t have any firewall software blocking the access, which apparently was not the case for me.

Hence, I have stopped using the same in my Macbook. Sorry for not able to help you out here.
