Can't open Docker using Catalina beta

I get the “Docker.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software message. This is not critical - I’m just experimenting with this.However, if anyone knows a workaround, I’d be interested.

Apple says that its own first-party apps will support it, as will the app dock and notifications.

Catalina requires all apps that are signed with developer IDs to be ‘notarized’ by Apple. In the absence of an updated version from the developer, you can try the following:

  1. Right-click and select “Open”. This may bring up the same dialog, but with an option to Open the file anyway.
  2. Also check System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Check Allow apps downloaded from App Store and identified developers > Click Open Anyway.
