Certificate Signed by Unknown Authority Docker Error

Hi, I am attempting to pull from the elasticsearch docker repo but receive the following error.

Error response from daemon: Get https://docker.elastic.co/v1/_ping: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority

I’m trying to understand and debug the error, any help would be much appreciated. Is there a way for docker to recognize the authority?
